Hillside Street Camp
June 15-19
What: Inner-city serving and sharing camp. We will paint homes, do neighborhood clean up, and do kids camps and services.
How can I help: Donate your time and energy to make lunches and dinners for our team of 60. Helping and donating food allows us to keep our costs low so that the students and families that come can afford to come to our camp. Pray!
Summer Education and Leadership Academy (7 weeks)
June 22-August 7
What: A seven week education and leadership program for our Agora high school students. We work with our students on reading, writing, math, and bible study. In addition, the students weekly meet businesses and business owners for teaching and inspiration. In addition, they serve local churches and groups to learn the power of serving.
How can I help: Teach a life skills class like cooking, washing… Teach an area of interest like music, guitar, computers, making jewelry… Have our group come to your business on a Wednesday to learn what you do, meet your leaders, and have a Q&A. Help with education. GED help, high school reading, writing, and math curriculum and direction. Pray!
AGORA Kids Camp
June 22-26
What: A weeklong day camp where we take the kids to have fun and learn about Jesus. These are the future leaders of AGORA. River City Church is the lead of this camp and we support there efforts.
How can I help: Make a financial donation. Help with pre-camp communication with our kids. Pray!
Street Camp 1
July 6-10
What: Our camps are designed to have students and families focus on serving, sharing their faith, and growing in close with Christ. Everyday we serve others, we share our faith, and we have awesome camp style services to challenge growth. Our camps motivate campers to serve and share their faith while helping us impact the inner-city.
How can I help: Donate a meal. Be part of our outreach planning and event team. Be part of a camp hospitality team.

July 20-24

Street Camp 3 (CMC)
July 27-31

Everyday we serve others, we share our faith, and we have awesome camp style services to challenge growth. Our camps motivate campers to serve and share their faith while helping us impact the inner-city.

Backpack Bash/ Shoe Drive
August 8th
What: Our area is one of the lowest income zip codes in the US. Our area needs love displayed with giving as well. We give out approximately 1,500 backpacks and shoes. This is a partnership event with AGORA Ministries, Sole Mission, and The South Texas AG Women’s Ministry.
How can I help: Donate money, help with distribution, passing out water, cooking hotdogs, walking through the line with families, be part of our family prayer team, and a lot more. This event requires 100 people to run smoothly.
