“If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is he?”
James 2:16
At AGORA we believe in our students and families. We feed them at every ministry activity. Soon, we will begin our winter coat drive to help them stay warm. Saying, “Jesus loves you.” is more than words, it must be met with ACTION!
With that said, the Lord has challenged us that we MUST help our students with more than just jackets and food; but with tools that will change their direction in life! First Christ, second physical needs, third EDUCATION and BUSINESS direction. Education and business is where we know the Lord is directing us in the years to come. Long term discipleship with a mind for helping our students and families achieve a deep relationship with Christ, achieve greater heights in education, and business training and opportunities.
I would like to highlight the awesome heart and vision that the Lord has given Larry and Diana Rosenberg. They have invested years into the lives of our students and have started a Junior Achievement program helping students learn and start real small businesses. Training through experience!
One of our core values is empowerment and this program empowers our students and families to see and experience long-term change.
Please continue to pray for AGORA, volunteer, and give. You are our partner in reaching the inner-city of San Antonio!
God bless,
