Cut your own path.
AGORA Barber College is a Class A Barber program built like a calling — a licensed trade, a mentor, and a real chair waiting at the end of it. No diploma. No GED. No problem.
Inside the chair.
Two minutes with AGORA Barber College — the clippers, the classroom, and the men learning a trade that will still be theirs in twenty years.

A trade nobody can take back.
AGORA has spent decades in San Antonio’s hardest zip codes. We kept meeting the same man: sharp, willing, good with his hands — and locked out of every job application by a missing diploma and a record he can’t undo.
A barber license changes that. It is state-issued, portable, recession-resistant, and it belongs to him. AGORA Barber College exists so that a man who has been told no his whole life can walk out with a Class A Barber license, a kit, a mentor, and a chair.

1,000 hours to a license.
Class A Barber, taught by a licensed barber, full-time or part-time. Ten months of theory, floor time, and state board prep — then the exam.
Cutting & Styling
Clipper work, shears, fades, tapers, and the finish work that keeps a client coming back.
Shaving & Beard Design
Straight-razor technique, hot towel service, and beard shaping done right.
Sanitation & Safety
Texas standards, station discipline, and the habits the state board actually tests.
Anatomy & Science
Skin, hair, and scalp — knowing why a technique works, not just how.
Client Care & Clinic
Real clients on the clinic floor: consultation, pacing, and handling a hard chair.
Business & Brand
Booth rent, pricing, booking, taxes, and building a book of business that lasts.
